2 vehicles seized in Awantipora: Police | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KNO): In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora on Friday said to have seized two vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in Khrew area. A Police party of Police Station Khrew headed by SHO PS Khrew seized two vehicles (tippers) bearing registration numbers JK13B-4411 and JK01AT-7704, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Accordingly, police said that a case under FIR number 62/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khrew and investigation has been initiated—(KNO)
